Wouldn’t you just love to take home a handmade souvenir from your stay in Colorado Springs? Each of our cottages is stocked with kids’ activity books, and one-of-a-kind pottery mugs. To thank you for staying with us, one of the activity books is yours for free!
The activity books were written by Nancy so that kids (or adults!) can enjoy learning more about Colorado and Colorado Springs. The puzzles, pictures and activities in the book were all created by Nancy with kids in mind. If you would like multiples, each additional book is $3.
About Your Mug: The glazes that color the inside and outside of your mug are predictable, but the size, shape and design of the mug will influence how it fires, and therefore how the glaze appears once the mug is finished. Also, each of the designs you see on the mugs was hand-drawn by Nancy. They are templates that she uses as a visual guide; when they are carved into the clay, she does it by hand, copying the template as closely as possible. So despite many similarities in design and color, the mug you choose will be truly unique to you!
Note: We do not ship these products: they are available in our cottages only. All the more reason to visit Colorado Springs!
